September Celebrations.
Hello September! This year seems to be speeding by really rather quickly and I have been very busy with commissions from several people.
Below is a Danish Style chair covered in Korla and plain Yellow wool fabric. So many people have commented on the previous two chairs (in Green Leaf Print and Yellow Wool) that I have been approached to make something similar.
The chair below is the first adaptation of my previous yellow chair. I have to say I prefer a chair with arms, gives you a better sense of comfort. The Lovely Hazel and Eliza also made this beautiful complimenting cushion to complete the chair.
Incidentally Hazel and Eliza have created a new website so take a look, I reckon they could make you some fantastic soft furnishings.
The second commission was for four dining chairs in the leaf print fabric. The fabric has a unique quality that appears to lend itself to any chair. I love it and I have some remaining so there could be something else made from this fabric at a later date.
This Chair I have been working on for a very long time purely because it is at my fathers and I have been unable to get there plus it would certainly take me an entire day to clean it up. However this is the stage it is at currently, So keep an eye out for when it's completed.
Here is the first cushion for my oldest friend Emily in her flat (not sure if you can tell she likes cushions or not). The other is for my old boss (my all time suffering second mother, who the Rocking Chair is actually for). I will send it off to her this week, so let's hope she likes it.
I have lots more updates for you all as I have another commission and a sofa I am dying to start.
Have a good weekend y'all!

As
for the celebrations in September, there have been a few birthday which
obviously need an obligatory cushion as a present! After all now we all need
something to cry into now that we are getting older haha!
