New New New!
Welcome to the New and improved and re-named Blog MatsonBailey. As of last month I had began to rethink my marketing strategy when a friend mentioned that I should brand my furniture (stick a label into the fabric perhaps!?!). I then decided I had to research similar business with memorable names. There are several obvious Companies that spring to mind such as Laura Ashley, Designers Guild, John Lewis and Habitat. They all have strong and timeless names. Taking this on board I set about creating the transition from Thrill of the Chaise to MB. I chose to use the names from my family so that the company would be personal to me, Matson is my Nan's Maiden name and Bailey is her mother's maiden name. My friend then kindly helped create the logo (pictured below) which I hugely appreciate along with the new website in it's entirety www.matsonbailey.co.uk Have a peek and let me know what you think, I am incredibly pleased with his work!
... and since we are on the topic of NEW items, we have a beautiful new Danish Easy chair for Sale.
It is covered in a combination of Designers Guild Fabrics. I used a classic Brero Lino Linen Fabric, the other I sadly do not know the name of, but I adore the heavy weave and it complimented the orange fabric brilliantly! The wood has been stripped of any varnish and has been oiled to bring back it's original colour. It is for Sale in all the usual places at the price of £250. All the links are in the above tabs, however here is the link to Etsy. Danish Chair Link.
Hope you all approve of the New name and website, have a great week x
