Pimpkin Picking

Saturday was pumpkin picking day! I hardly need to tell you how excited I have been.... the anticipation is real! And as expected it was brilliant. We collected our wheel barrows and marched straight into the centre of the field and collected up a bundle of pumpkins in all different sizes. We quite quickly overloaded the wheel barrow and my poor friend's fella (who was nominated to push it around) had a rather difficult job of transporting said barrow around the field. Anyway, we came away with muddy hands and a boot full of colourful pumpkins, some for decoration and others for pie! It was such fun (if not a little premature) you definitely need to head to a pumpkin patch and get some of your own, for now treat yourself to my pictures below.
