New Chair ... Sneak Peek!

As you can see this is the new chair I will be working on. Such a wonderful find don't you think? I purchased it from eBay which is not always the cheapest way of sourcing furniture, but it was a bargain. It is also my first commissioned piece which is exciting, Thrill of The Chaise is beginning to take off!

When deciding on the material there were so many I wanted to use. I recently bought this beautiful Casandra pink and white Designers Guild Flower Fabric which I thought would contrast perfectly, but I have to say I really like the idea of using green against a dark wood. The Fabric we quickly decided on is positioned below, and is now available from korlahome. They have a fantastic website bursting with material at a very reasonable price. I sent for a sample a few weeks ago so I could see the size and strength of the fabric and as I am sure you would agree it's beautiful and incredibly unique.

As you can see the fabric really is versatile, they have made curtains and cushions and now I will be using it on my chair!
