More Chairs to Come!
As the titles suggests I have some more chairs on their way! Apologies for the small photos, the quality provided by the sellers is not top notch! I also have a couple of chairs I am finishing off at the moment, which are on facebook so do take a look ( follow this link to Our Facebook Page)
They are incredibly close to being completed, it is only the seat cushions I am waiting on From the lovely HazelandEliza.
Let's move right on to the New Chairs! The first, pictured below I think will be my favorite of the lot. I have been after a sturdy Bergere Style Armchair for a good while, and this one is just beautiful.
Naturally I trundled down to my local Designers Guild shop to get some inspiration for the colours.
I am going to keep it simple with Blue and White (possibly an off white, I don't want it to be too startling) So I have chosen A Designers Guild fabric called Brera Treccia Cobalt which is a lovely hounds-tooth linen, and to sit alongside it a basic cream coloured Linen.
I have also been commissioned by a lovely lady from Etsy to create a similar chair to the one pictured below. It's nice to know that someone really likes my choice of collaborations and colours. I will be using my trusty Designers Guild Fabric store once more for the beautiful Charlottenberg Charteuse Fabric
This chair, I may even want to keep. The orange stripe fabric I have been after for an absolute age and it has recently become available and at £5 it just had to be mine. The chair of course is strong and simple, and I think the fabric will help exude the retro style. Again I think teaming it with a soft lighter linen could be perfect! Can you tell how excited I am?
And finally, this is a commissioned stool for my friend Amy, living up in the beautiful countryside of Leicester (I miss it very much, and if I get the opportunity to go up and drop it there myself I would be very excited!) As you can see she loves a bit of Tartan with a modern twist to it, of course I will replace the buttons and it should come up a real treat. I think it would look perfect in her Cottage so she can pop her feet up in front of the fire!
Keep watching for more photos! And as usual there will be lots of updates on Facebook. Hope you all have a super week, bye for now!
