Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! This year I spent the festive season with my friend Harriet at the sea side in Hove. We had the most relaxing time watching films and loading our plates with so much food! Other than sitting down our only other objective was to reach for another plate of deliciousness!

To start the day we were accompanied by a Penguin and a T- Rex at breakfast. We had champagne mixed with Chambord and eggs benedict, YUM! it was beautiful. Shortly after we opened all of our presents like over excited children, I got some brilliant gifts  .... and then,  the next obvious task was to prepare for lunch!

Lunch was a roaring success! The black pudding mash potato, the crispy crackling, succulent cabbage and all of the other trimmings were mouth-watering! We had so much that there was enough for the following day. We later indulged in a chocolate tart for desert and then the obligatory cheese board washed down by a glass of port.

Safe as to say I will be seeing an awful lot of the gym in the New Year, along with everyone else I suspect.

On Boxing Day we went for a little walk, and there is a little shop just down the road from my friends flat called 'Keep It Vintage' which I absolutely adore! They have a desk pictured in the window at the moment that I fell in love with so I am going to have to make an enquiry about that as soon as possible. The displays are always so beautifully dressed, Simone who owns the store really knows her décor!

Christmas was a complete success, and I do hope New Years Eve Celebrations will bring much of the same fun. So I hope you all have a wonderful time.
