A Weekend In Hove.

This weekend was spent on a bit of a whim down in Hove to see my lovely friends. What a beautiful weekend it was, the sun was shining and I even picked up a little something for my house.
I will start backwards on the Sunday, as we went to this brilliant little cafe around the sleepy high street in Hove. It was the snuggest little place with a roof terrace; just take a look at the pictures. It's just how I would love my garden to eventually look.

On the Saturday we really did stretch our legs down to Brighton. We visited North Lane and along to one of my absolute favourite place 'Snooper's Paradise' where the walls and floors were covered in copious amounts of mid-century treasures. Amongst the items we found below were a framed collection of butterflies on a tea tray and a painting of a disgruntled looking lobster, very amusing!

My one treat this weekend apart from visiting my friend was this beautiful Vogue mirror. I have been after one for such a long time now and I think my luck was in because there were three; however this one by far was the most desirable. The frame needs a bit of restoring but that is a project I can add to my list of things to do! ...And on that note I have a treat in store for you, I have finished another Chair from The Yellow Collection and I have popped a few photos just below for you to see. IT is of course on sale and will be available from all of the usual places Ebay, Etsy and Bigcartel.

I do hope you have all had a lovely weekend, I am already wishing for the next!
